Chaos, Solitons & Fractals back in business

After a period of quiescence following some controversy, Elsevier's journal of nonlinear science Chaos, Solitons & Fractals (CS&F) has been re-launched.

In a press release posted earlier today the scholarly publisher announced that CS&F has recruited two new co-editors-in-chief and has refined its Aims and Scope -- going forward it will centre on the interdisciplinary theme of complexity. The journal has also undergone some changes in the editorial structure and has a new look.

The two new co-editors-in-chief are Professor Maurice Courbage of Université Denis Diderot - Paris 7 and Professor Paolo Grigolini of the University of North Texas, USA

CS&F, says Elsevier, will soon be accepting submissions here.

I hope to have more on this soon. (Now available here)

In the meantime some background information is available here: 1, 2, 3 and 4.

And a longer piece on the journal can be found here.
